WHO CAN SIT FOR A SET ENTRANCE EXAM

Symbiosis International University will conduct its law entrance exam, namingly SLAT 2019 probably in the first week of May. Till the year 2018, SLAT was known as SET entrance exam or SET Law. SET Entrance exam is to be conducted across 85 cities of India in online mode. The Symbiosis Law Entrance Test (SET Entrance exam or SET Law) will be administered by the university to offer admissions into the undergraduate law programmes.

The candidates must check the eligibility criteria of SET Entrance Exam set up by the university before filling up the application form to ensure if you meet the criteria. Candidate who are willing to get admissions into law three year course from any of the mentioned three symbiosis college need to qualify the eligibility criteria of SET Law 2019 officially announced from the Symbiosis International University, which says
  • Candidates must have passed 12th or 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized state board.
  • General category candidates need to secure at least 45% of marks or equivalent grade.
  • ST and SC candidates need to secure 40% or equivalent grade.

SET Exam Pattern

The candidates willing to pursue law program from the symbiosis university must know the exam pattern of SET entrance exam. Symbiosis International University will soon announce the SET exam pattern and for now the details of the paper pattern are given below. The exam pattern will give a full insight of the test paper such as the number of questions, total number of marks and difficulty level of the exam that is important to know.
  • The SET 2019 will be held in online mode.
  • The candidates will be given a total 2 hours 30 minutes.
  •  The test paper will consist total 150 questions.
  • The total marks allotted for the paper is 150.
  • The test paper will consist five different sections.
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers and one mark will be given to each correct answers.
